Checking fingers for burn marks :)

It is no secret that I love menages and with books like POLISHED by Alyssa Turner it is so easy to see why. Yes the sex is hot enough to set off smoke detectors but the journey that Spence, Rory and Jack take to be together is what will keep readers glued to their readers until the very end. Spence and Rory are in a committed relationship and it is only a matter of time before Spence pops the question. Jack has everything a person could seemingly want but he has never had a relationship that lasted more then just one night.
When Jack and Spence are trapped for a few hours together not only do they have to do what it takes to survive but also the attraction between them. But when Jack and Rory meet it seems to click that just maybe the two could become three.
I loved how Ms Turner showed how each character dealt with the potential of a triad relationship. The love scenes between the three of them will make you jump in an ice cold shower with the air conditioner on full blast. Even after the last page readers will still want to linger and reread parts because you simply do not want this to end.
I definitely have a new must read author in Alyssa Turner and I know other readers will agree. It seemed like they had everything, but they didn't have Jack.

Passionate with fabulous HEA

Each character comes to know that the other two completes them in ways they never realized they needed. The sex is beautiful, hot, passionate, and something way beyond scratching an itch for no real reason. This story has a fabulous HEA ending. I absolutely adored reading this fabulous book and would happily recommend this one to anyone looking for a unique twist on an average theme to pass a few hours with.

Passionate and Beautiful

Before reading Polished, I was not familiar with Alyssa Turner's work. After reading Polished, I wish I found her sooner! Seriously, this was VERY WELL DONE! I haven't read much in the MMF genre, but this book leaves me wanting more of that, A LOT more of that!
First of all, these three main characters: Rory, Spencer, and Jack, were AMAZING! Each one came with their own struggles and insecurities, and it was beautiful to watch them all grow as individuals as well as a unit. We start off with Spencer and Rory. These two are so incredibly in love with each other you would never think anything was missing in their lives. Enter Jack Rothman! Oh Jack! He had to be my favorite out of these three. I love it when a bad boy, ladies man falls in LOVE. To top it all off the man is a natural Dom! Oh SWOON! This author really knows my weakness, and that weakness is a SEXY Dom who knows what he wants.
The struggles that these three went through individually and together were heartbreaking. Rory was always trying to pretty herself up, and she never thought she was good enough. Spencer had these feelings that he didn't know what to do with. Jack was always looking for more out of life. Separate these three, and of course, life could go on for all of them, but put them all together and it's intense, emotional, and simply beautiful. The love and the passion that comes through, not just in the explosive sex scenes but when they are just together, it's fascinating.
I will tell you one thing, Alyssa Turner had one hell of a way with words and I freakin' LOVED it. I enjoyed the way that I related to Rory, not the fact that she has two amazing men to come home to, GOD I wish I had that *smirks* but the fact that she was always trying to please everyone as well as the struggling relationship she had with her family. I think Spencer grew the most out of the three. To keep those emotions bottled up for so long, can take a toll on a person. When Jack and Rory finally pulled those feeling out of him and made him believe it, I just broke down. I felt for Spencer and I was so glad that Rory's heart was big enough to let Jack in, because it was what Spencer needed, and she also found out it was what she needed as well.
I think the reason that I never tried out a MMF book was the fact that I didn't think the relationship could ever be strong enough to survive. The strength and the chemistry between these characters and the storyline that Alyssa Turner created, made me a believer. I can't wait to read more from this author. Well done!
